What's missing is the spirited tête-à-tête between Liberal strategist Scott Reid and Conservative strategist Tim Powers, who were discussing election possibilities.
Towards the end of the segment, Scott Reid says:
"...this is what this is all about. You're scared to death of where the economy's going because you've done nothing; you don't plan to do anything, and you know that if you don't pull the plug on this Parliament now, it's going to end in tears and ... um, blood."
Duff: "I thought you were going to say beer!"
Reid (Grimacing): "Oh, Duff, that's so funny..."
Powers (Laughing): "He said it, not me!"
Duff: "I know... Take him out & shoot him..."
O.K. O.K. - You'd have to be a political junkie to get it...

Poor Scott - he will NEVER live that one down.
What did we ever do to Deserve Mike Duffy as a Conservative Party Pusher.
Sorta like our fox news.
Thanks Dude, our favourite political pundit.
Scott Reid did not look pleased!
Their links are all messed up somehow, or it's me! I'm having problems linking to the segment I wanted for my "Liberal with horns" guy. He is on the bottom of todays Duffy link, but he was yesterdays news.
Oh well, it's Friday, I'm not going to worry about it now.
I think Duff actually said "beer and popcorn"

Even better!
when are the liberal going to learn that scott reid doesn't help them one bit....are they running low on folks who will support their causes on MDL?
I am incensed!
First we have a retired lecturer suggesting political leaders should be jailed by any legal means possible. Now we have a journalist suggesting political hacks should be subjected to extra-judicial execution!

I think the Liberals keep their smart people busy formulating policy, instead of formulating silly comments on tv shows.

Unfortunately, those people are hidden from view, and apparently MIA. Reid is front and centre on the tube, where the average Canadian voter can see him.
It's like using Coderre and Volpe as spokesmen.
lol..I love it...watched those two...and it's all here...as I heard it.
