"What do you think of the name?" It's fine, but I thought your "JJ" was also great. In any case, it's your blog, and it's up to you to decide on its look.
But I have another question.
Will the changes prevent hilarious comments like this one (from another thread here) from getting through? I certainly hope not!
Person 1: "The Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper steps up to the plate and hits a home run everytime. " Person 2: "Yes, the Jays could really use him. ***They went downhill after Stephen Harper became an MP in 1993.***”
I like the new name. Very catchy. I did notice something unusual today. The panel on the right (beginning with the "About Me" section) doesn't start until your last post on the main page.

Trying a test comment.
Great, Jack! Thanks.
I'm not blue yet, but I will be soon as I am going out to shovel some more global warming. Everything that I have tried works. Kudos to your IHTG.
lol! Take it easy there, Swift. Lots of breaks.
Tis that Blue like the Ocean or tis that a Royal Conservative Blue?
No Blue comments from us Blue Bloggers eh?

Heh. Good one.
The meaning of 'blue' is in the mind of the reader. :)
May I ask a question?
Why the name change?
Remember, I'm technically challenged, so I don't understand the need for such changes.
OK, I did ask TWO questions ...
yes...
blue like me!
bluetech
Why the name change?
That's a fair question. My 'consulting team' and I felt it was a bit more professional-looking. It's also easy to remember and type.
Hopefully my readers won't find the switch too traumatic. ;)
Also, with my own domain name, I could eventually leave Blogger and have more freedom to do what I want with it, such as advertising, etc.
That's all off in the future. Just taking it a step at a time. What do you think of the name?
yes...
blue like me!
There ya go! That's what we were aiming for. ;)

Boy, that Stephen Harper is some powerful dude!
oh well, just because, I liked the old name better, It identified the blog with a person, not a title. Just my thoughts. LOL
Well, Kingston, thanks for your thoughts. Yes, the feedback has been mixed.
In any case, the avatar is still the same so there's some continuity.
BTW, I'm open to suggestions regarding name changes, etc. I can still keep the domain but change the name again.

Thanks, Steph. Does anyone else see that? It shows up at the top for me, for some reason. Strange.
