Redman rolls out the Red carpet for the Liberal Caucus

Karen Redman has managed to sway the Liberal Party to select Kitchener-Waterloo as the venue for their upcoming 'brainstorming session', because as we all know, "..there is going to be an election sooner or later, and southwestern Ontario has been traditionally a stronghold for the Liberals." Oh yes, we are good little lemmings here.

Karen has done an excellent job selling the Liberal caucus on our über-intelligent community:

"I'm thrilled," Redman said. "Andrew and I are pleased to showcase Waterloo Region and to show what our cities and the region has to offer. There is a lot of attention being given to our community because it is so innovative. And we're on the cutting edge of so many things."

Oh yes. Cutting edge.

Just bring a sharp knife for the rope.

Update: Attention school children in Waterloo Region - Best to give Ruby Dhalla a wide berth.

Oh and BTW, will the Honourable Member from CBC be attending the caucus meeting?

Joanne,

Nice catch.

No question in my mind that Karen Redman represents the braintrust of the Liberal brand.

They couldn't have picked a better showcase for their wares than the mighty consituency of Karen Redman.

Do these people have no shame? Is there nothing left to offer but veneer and a new paint (extra glossy please!)

The Liberal Party of Canada wouldn't know a "policy" if it came up and bit them on the ass. I would strongly urge that Karen Redman tag team with Mike Eizenga to show the true gender enriched symergies that come with a thick glaze painted over raw opportunism.

If they limit themselves to original ideas there will be no noise complaints from the neighbours.

Ha! Beauty, Swift.

Quite likely you won't see any pictures of scantily-clad women on anyone's laptop either.

Well, if they really think "The Snoop" would make the trip up from London with a pair of binoculars, then they could black out the windows and leave the adverts for tropical vacations on their hard drives.

PS don't let anyone know the big secret, according to one of the satellite records, 2007 was the cooooldest year of the century.

Yeah, and hopefully Karen has learned her lesson about knee-jerk responses to such matters.

Oops, sorry Joanne. I thought you were talking about the upcoming Provincial Council convention that will also be coming to Kitchner in February. I should have checked the link.

No worries, Zac. Although I was wondering if perhaps you were running in the next election... ;)
