Update: ChuckerCanuk - Freak out your profs, join the Conservative Party.
Sunday Update: Angelo Persichilli - We need a clear choice. He totally discounts the Liberals as a viable alternative for the moment. Ouch!

OT Joanne...but you have to see what Fenris has at DMB...
Ha-ha! I suppose you mean this?
Never say never. That guy has nine lives (or more).
Damn I would have loved this in my time! Maybe the day will come when I march on a campus demanding the communists be purged. (real conservative)
Great to see the tide turning on the campuses! these young people have nailed it.
Upset the prof,indeed!

My Father said I would enter University a Communist and exit a Capitalist. Starvation has a way about it when looking at the next residence meal. Back in the good old 60's we "business dudes" always won the battles for the hearts and "minds" of the socialist crowd - pizza in the common room always worked.
I guess the right / left split still exists.

Well I don't want to date myself too much, but I do remember fighting for the right to wear pants to highschool instead of skirts.
That was a sweet victory.
Profs are so narrow minded it is like a slap in the face when a student doesn't buy the leftist mantras.
Joanne ...we are contemporaries!
Joanne ...we are contemporaries!
Were you a pants activist too? ;)
Funny thing was, that after we won that one, we went back to wearing skirts anyway, cause the boys seemed to prefer them...
LMAO @ Joanne,
"demonize academia"....riiiight. My education was demonized nicely by the liberal political science prof. last term who, from being a member of McGuinty's citizen's panel on election reform, preached a good game, and even included a question on the mid-term asking students to list the benefits of MMP.
LMAO @ Joanne
Lemme tell you, those miniskirts were not much protection in minus 20 windchill. And of course we had to walk several miles. ;)
When my kids were in highschool the fight was for a smoking room for students, (they won). When we girls won the right to wear pants, a long time ago, the boys decided if we could wear pants they could wear dresses. And they did, for 2 days they come to school with pin curls (remember them), makeup, skirts and blouses. 2 even could get into their sisters pumps.
Everyone had a great laugh, especially when a very dry boring male teacher got into the act.
