Canadian Blog Awards - Round Two

Voting has begun for round two of the Canadian Blog Awards. This is a great opportunity to check the finalists, and possibly discover some new favs.

In any case, kudos to the organizers of this Awards event. At least they won't have to worry about a Writers' Strike!

OT Joanne, I heard on 570 on teh drive in this morning that a announcement is coming soon from a major European auto manufacturer regarding an investment in our (KW Cambridge) area. Have you heard anything?

Nothing yet, Greg. That does sound encouraging though.

Congrats Jo on making the top five

Thanks so much Kingston, and thanks again for the nomination!

PS. to Greg,, really, hmmmm, it would seem those corp cut taxes might just be the proper prescription to continue to grow the economy, what say you now Mr.Layton.

Mr. Layton thinks our economy would improve if we make the country less attractive for new businesses to invest in. Why is that 'progressives' think all progress stopped in 1867? (not Canada's Birthday, the first publication of Das Kapital by Karl Marx). And why does Jack remind me of Groucho Marx?

Yes, congrats on being a finalist. Hope you win!
It's probably the only time I will vote for a conservative this year!

re corp tax cuts: If we could ensure we tax any money flowing out of corporations to natural people, then we could stop taxing corporations altogether. I'm only half kidding...

Thanks, L.S. I appreciate that. I'm also glad you continue to challenge me. It keeps me on my toes. ;)

You're one of my favourites.

On the Grit side, Calgary Grit is pretty good.

JCh has gone completely partisan/mental, so I can't vote for him. And he censors me. Innocuous me!

Thanks. You're one of mine too. ;)

JCh?

Möbius said...

Sorry, the JCh is Jason Cherniak.

He's been assimilated by the dark side of Liberalism.

Nothing is wrong, if committed by Liberals.

Makes me less likely to ever vote Liberal again.

Joanne (True Blue) said...

Ah yes, Cherniak. I find him quite entertaining in some strange, eccentric way.
