I just can't get over this line from Julian Fantino:
OPP commissioner Julian Fantino said in a release that the force, “will seek every legal remedy possible to end this madness and to bring them (protesters) to justice.”At first I thought he was referring to the native protesters.
“These incidents, where interlopers put their personal agendas over those who are striving for a permanent and lasting resolution will not be tolerated,” said Fantino.
Silly me.
Meanwhile, the feds will offer another cash settlement, since the $125 million offered last May wasn't good enough - Ottawa plans new cash offer to Six Nations.
If that fails, then Plan B goes into action.
Trouble is, nobody seems to know what that might be.

what did the province miss Joanne?
Was their EVER a "plan A"???
I predict we'll be here re-hashing all of this, next year at this time.
Anyone else?
anon. is right Jo....maybe this is as much as we're getting from this gov't re: Caledonia??
Maybe Dalton's going to fill us in when he makes his promises during the next election campaign???
Well, the Federal Government is actually the one talking about Plan B.
However, the McGuinty government is responsible for upholding the law and attempting to keep the peace. They seem to focus on the latter more than the former.
One federal offer was already rejected by Six Nations. We'll see what the next offer is.
Is it possible the Feds will call their bluff and offer LESS?
Is this only a local matter? The so-called national MSM is not covering it.
Shreiber is just way too important.

Somehow I doubt it, but you never know...

Well, I suppose since it's such an ongoing issue, MSM has likely figures there's not much to attract readers.
Plan "A" - blame the feds.
Plan "B" - blame the feds.
Plan "C" - blame the feds.
see a pattern here?
At least it's not blame Mike Harris or climate change....but, heck the day is young.
Oh, and we're celebrating yet another snow day in rural small town Ontario on the lea of L. Huron.
