Seasonal finale Friday?
Guess who will be the target of the Chicken cannon? My guess our PM.
The first chicken cannon was hillarious...they ruined it by dragging it on and on and on...

It's one of the only shows on CBC that I actually enjoyed. Unlike their news reporting, I knew that Air Farce was comedy.

Will the chicken cannon be for sale? I could use one . If not maybe I'll try and find a giant spatula.

Hard to say if this an April fools Joke..but if it is true, scratch on more taxpayer funded Conservative bashing group.

Their 'comedy' was never more vitriolic then when they were bashing conservatives..it grew tiresome, long ago..

about time. they've gone from funny to meanspirited of late.

How often can the Harper-robot be funny?

Given the limitations of the current cast, what were they thinking going live?

That thought crossed my mind too.

Sorry guys, but as I mentioned in the update, I'm having technical issues and won't be able to allow any comments through for a while.

Please leave comments anyway, and I'll try to resolve things asap.

Now, if they could just convince Mary Walsh to retire....

I can honestly say I have never watched one show. I saw some dumbass clips years ago that were not funny. The comparison I read today with Green Acres probably does a disservice to that classic.

Notice the cbs network in the US is also making huge layoffs, and newspapers are crying about the reduced revenue from ADS.
When will they face the fact that we the consumers want truth, not bias. Both sides of a story would be great.
The consumer will no longer be satisfied with lies, unfunny shows, and outright bias.

Hey, Joanne, welcome back!

Too bad about Air Farce. It used to be good comedy (a subjective POV, of course), but it lost its ability to satirize ALL political parties, concentrating their barbs aimed solely at the Conservatives. Their hatred is palpable.

They also lowered their standards in other ways. E.g. they did a skit on the Ianneros, the couple murdered in Mexico, shortly after the event was reported. Ugh!

My neighbour at the cottage [in Quebec] is from Wisconsin. When asked if he had a tv satellite dish..he said no....he only got two channels....one in french and the other...a cartoon channel..I thought that was priceless.Seriously, this is bad news for the Libranos since they will lose another source of indirect marketing..Who will take over the conservative bashing??

Hey, Joanne, welcome back!

Thanks, Gabby. I actually just got back on line just now. I had to use computers at various other places to moderate comments earlier.

I know that you mean about Air Farce. I used to be one of our favourite shows, but it's really gone downhill over the last few years.

Hi Joanne..
Did you get some spring cleaning done?
-connect with old friends?
-catch up on phone call?
-read a 'paper'?

Bluetech, I did a lot of cleaning and reading. The phone was out too, so that was annoying.
