Dalton McSpendy

In case these interesting tidbits missed your perusal, the Globe had a great editorial this morning - Taxing and Spending. Also Sandy has just posted a thought-provoking piece at Jack's Newswatch - Ontario's Health Premium = surplus!

Do you think we've been 'had'?

Update: And the official answer is: Yes! (As if you didn't know).

Of course, McGuinty has lied, why would that change now.

"Health premium = surplus"

Shame on Tory for diverting attention from this with his stupid education platform.

In your riding, vote PC if they can win. In my riding, I'm voting Green, because the voters here have all been bought and paid for the the Lib party.

Promise us anything and we'll vote for you.

I live in a town with a lot of government and university types. They once voted con like robots, but now vote lib like robots, because they've been in power for awhile.

Due to my dislike, nay...extreme dislike... for the Tory position on education, I think we need to email the hell out of them to change this, so that we can get rid of D. McG. The election starts Monday. It's not too late for them to listen.

A G&M article today suggests that Tory wanted to do this for several years, and was waiting for the campaign. If so, he really is not fit to lead this province, at least as a conservative. If not, he may still have a chance to change his mind.

We should be talking about McG and his spending, but instead we talk about the religious education "issue".

Who was demanding this change?

That's right. The writ hasn't been dropped yet, has it?

If you look at this thing at face value, it makes sense - either have everyone on the same level as the Catholics, or get rid of FB-funding altogether. In reality, it's a bit more complicated.

But Tory should be getting back to Cricket-gate and the health-tax and all that crap that made us hate McGuinty. And while I'm at it, what about all the things that have been de-listed like eye exams and such?

Read Friday's Hamilton Spectator to understand what is really going on in this election and why Construction Trades give so much to Working Families Coalition.

Hamilton staff estimate $100's of Millions will be wasted by Union monopoly if it is not reversed. Carpenters Union used Card Based Cetification (a gift from Liberals in Bill 144) to certify City.

Paddler, are you referring to this mess?

But I don't see them on the list of supporters at Working Families.
