McGuinty handler threatens CHCH News

This warrants a separate post - H/T from an anonymous source in the previous thread.

CH news is being threatened to stop reporting the story!!!!

Free speech and media access now being threatened in Ontario!

Now this is the story!


Watch it quick before McGuinty's handlers have it pulled.

    Ben Chin is a former anchor. And failed Liberal candidate. And has been spending the campaign trying to take John Tory out by going negative with his fake online news report on ToryTube. Wouldn't it be fun if the tables were turned and the net took him out?

    Proves just one thing to me and that is what someone else on another blog said.

    The monster in this election it's McGuinty, the angry man, and his thugs, who'll stop at nothing from hiding the truth.

    I find it VERY interesting that the whole Caledonia issue has been brushed under the rug by the Liberals, because it was handled badly, and caused taxpayers millions.

    This issue is far from over and with McGuinty in charge nothing will change.

    I'm switching my vote to Tory.

    Clearly Kinsella's going to try his best to stop the public from looking behind Caledonia DOOR #3, and certainly not on the bully tactics used against CHCH.

    Mean, angry, white Liberals vs. tolerant, measured, and fair Conservatives.

    NO choice to be made there when it comes to the kind of leader I want running the province.

    Hey, did anyone catch the clip of McGuinty saying he had trouble doing his kid's Grade 12 math homework? This must explain his financial challenge running our province's account.

    I think it is technical difficulties at my end. It is trying to transfer from "macromedia.com", maybe trying to update flash movie player or something.

    Is there a transcript? I'd like to know what sort of threat this is.

    Is it like the PPG bickering? Or more like "we'll send in building inspectors, health inspectors, tax auditors, whatever it takes until we find something to have you closed down and your broadcast license revoked". Or a Keyser Soze kind of threat to "track down every one of your relatives and kill every one of them except for one, who will be left to tell the tale"?

    BTW, Jeff Allan's interview with Dalton McGuinty can be heard by joining the 570 Insiders club, which is free, and then click on 'earn points' and 'exclusive audio'.

    Basically he was blaming the Feds for this problem, even though the province is responsible for land titles.

    The Tories were going to win Caledonia anyways, its not a contestable riding really.

    I do find it amusing that when Tories ignore the media its an 'attack on the freedom of the press', but when Liberals threaten media to drop critical stories, there's silence.

    Its partisan politics *shrugs* They don't care about the issues, only about their party.
