Thanks so much to my niece Michele, who created this awesome original graphic design for my blog! She works for a publishing company in Toronto and is quite an impressive young woman.
Michele, you are very talented. I appreciate this so much.
If anyone would like to enlist Michele's artistic talents, please feel free to email me at my profile addy, and I'll pass on the request.

Thanks, Platty! Yes, it's very clean, crisp and I love the colours.
Very nice!
lol!!! Thanks, Vicki!
Well, my hubby thinks I'm not bad-looking. That's all that matters. ;)
As for the solid; ahem. Well, sometimes a little too solid in places I'd rather not be, but working on that.
Looks good joanne! I had a sneak preview as Michele sent it to me last night to have a look at!
Awesome logo! It's perfect!
Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
Michele, I am highly impressed at your designing abilities! I love the design it is awesome and it fits your Aunt Joanne to a tee, clean and beautiful!
You are modest Joanne, it think that you are an extremely good-looking lady.
The J's remind me of little elf boots. I just wish the one to the right was kicked back at an angle.
That way I could imagine it was about to kick a Liberal's arse just off to the left of the viewing area.
lol!! Molar, that's funny!! Ha! Well, maybe I can work something out with Michele.. ;)
You are modest Joanne, it think that you are an extremely good-looking lady. Golly gee whiz. Thanks, Mom!
wahooooooooo very sweet,
Joanne,
I came across this today at garth Turners blog. You had a post a while back regarding the "Little Black Book" that was being thrusted oneveryone. Apparently the entire situation was a lie perpetuated by the religious right. How very unChristian of them.

Great logo, by the way!!!
Thanks, Sara and Jay!
Jay, maybe I'm missing something here, but it doesn't seem that the "entire" situation was a lie. And I learned that claims the Toronto social agency responsible for this book had received millions of tax dollars to produce it were bogus.
The original problem still stands. However, Turner and McVety are determined to take each other down any way they can.
Agreed.
It is not entirely a lie as the Little Black Book actually exists.
Everything else was misinformation, and overreaction which was gleefully pushed by those whose agenda it suited most, the social conservatives.
Not picking a fight just pointing out how bad information gets propagated. I have done it myself quite by accident when making a post on a breaking story that later had to be retracted.
