I found the nuance about Dion's French citizenship somewhat interesting. It wasn't just conferred on him at birth. He had to apply. That is intriguing.
Dion's distinct lack of knowledge regarding issues Albertans hold dear is what is contemptible to me Red Tory, and to most Albertans.
Although I agree with you regarding Paul Jacksons rant... little of substance.
I also have to unfortunately agree with one point Jackson made... Dion is done like dinner here before he gets out of the gate, and you can say hello to the Alberta Alliance Party as the next government in Alberta if Dion gets in...
No more shit from Ottawa boyo, not now, not ever again.
Red Tory, You are not in the same league as Mr. Levant, compared to him, you are a piece of garbage. Go back to your left-coast fools paradise, Alberta is not for Liberals trying to disguise themselves as some sort of a Conservative.
Joe Calgary -- Dion's distinct lack of knowledge regarding issues Albertans hold dear is what is contemptible to me Red Tory, and to most Albertans.
This appears to be based solely on Peter Jackson’s opinion. He provides no details whatsoever about these “punitive tax measures for Alberta's energy sector” that he claims Dion is considering and his dire predictions of economic catastrophe resulting from Kyoto are likewise unfounded.

Well, aren’t you a charmer? Thank goodness Joanne doesn’t allow personal attacks in the comments. ;-)

Funny, during the 12 years I lived there I rather liked it for the most part. Except of course for the arrogant, xenophobic asswipes who think they’re God’s gift to creation because they’re fortunate enough to be sitting on top of enormous oil reserves.
CWTF - Cute. BTW, two women registered as "parents" on a child's birth certificate is nothing new (relatively speaking). Three parents on a birth certificate is the issue.
"This is the first time in Canada that three parents will be recognized on a birth certificate," said Karen Busby, a University of Manitoba law professor. "That's clearly novel."

Calgary SUN, not Herald.
I think the editors at the Herald would have caught this:
Imagine the furor that would emanate from the Liberal camp if a Conservative leader had done what Dion did.
We'd never here the last of it.
What a worthless piece of rubbish this editorial is.
Calgary SUN, not Herald.
Duly noted. Thanks.

I find Levant's line of attack regarding Dion's nominal French citizenship to be contemptible and irrelevant. It's such a non-issue.

"Good. Done and dusted. Now f--- the f--- off Alberta and enjoy nationhood."

(Blog Administrator's note: I only allow Sara to say that word here, and then only when she's had a really bad day.)
That hardly seems fair. Perhaps my day has been bad as well. What makes Sara so special interest?
What makes Sara so special interest?
