Garth keeps surprising me

Great Remembrance Day post by Garth Turner.

Lest we forget.

This is quite beautiful too, in its humility - Je me souviens - ChuckerCanuk.

Doncha love these anonymous cowards who are so convinced that they're right that they don't evern dare to reveal who they are?
Garth was maybe right, maybe so was Brison, maybe Belinda, and maybe David Orchard.
Maybe.

Most Canadians deeply respect the sacrifices our soldiers have made, and will continue to make on the behalf of our country.

That the current MP for Halton also shares this basic value has nothing to do with his politics, nor should it influence anyone's opinions of his political views or tactics.

Thanks Garth. Now explain why those same men would be disgusted by the state of this country today due to rampant liberalism and multiculturalism.
(real conservative)

Thanks for the post, Joanne, as well as the link to Garth's post. As more than one person as stated, both here and at Garth's, some things are above politics: Remembering the sacrifices made by Canadians so that we can live in freedom is certainly one of them.

It's true. We need to remember that we're all really on the same team.
