Stubborn Dr. Did Little

Stephane Dion is digging in his heels on the Terror Vote (H/T National Newswatch).

Kate also notes that his is losing the support of Liberal media regarding Kyoto.

Ah well, at least we have Ralph's assurances that Stephane is smarter and more sincere than Stephen Harper.

And you can always trust Ralph Goodale, right?

This talk of sincerity reminds me of that old Peanuts cartoon strip, after the gang loses yet another baseball game:

"How could we lose when we're so sincere?"

I have a feeling that not a few Libranos will be asking that question. A lot.

(fully expecting some posters here to not realize that the following is said with tongue firmly planted in cheek)

Is there a possible connection between the (French) Liberal leader, Stephane Dion and his (French) spokesperson Andre Fortin saying that this anti-terror law will not be renewed and the fact that the F.L.Q. has been making noise again lately? Where were MR. Dion's and Mr. Fortin's loyalties in the 1970's? Were they perhaps closet members? Are their current actions in support of the re-emergenge of the F.L.Q.?

Just asking. . . . . .

I wouldn't say "stubborn" so much as ideologically blind or dogmatic.

He's a radical leftist.

Messy practical facts such as the Air India inquiry being hampered matter not.

Harper is the wartime leader we need to lead us into The War on Terror.

Dion is not a Wartime leader

Dion is the one who's scary; not Harper. I would be very afraid for the future of Canada if Stephane Dion became PM.

The Liberals should cut their losses and dump him.

Joanne, Canada is much better off if the Liberals have a leader so incompetent that even the MSM can't paper over his deficiencies.
Only if they can find somebody worse (any suggestions anybody?), should they dump Dion.

Swift, I don't care if Dion keeps shooting himself in the foot, but this Terror issue is one that should be considered outside of partisan politics.

Who wants o make a bet that Dion will win the next Election...

Odds are he will.

Fear, terror, communism, we always need enemies so that the public doesnt see us cons for what we are.

Hi Joanne, I couldn't leave a message at your first post because the word identification was not visible. I stayed away for two days but just had to put my two cents in just now in a new post. Had lunch with granddaughter yesterday and she is fine. At nearly 15, they heal so fast. Thanks for asking.
