Gotta love these headlines

This is what a Blogging Tory lives for:

Harper shines at G-8.

Yes indeed. I just posted on this as well. It is nice to hear the gnashing of dion's teeth. Harper is a leader!

I love it too Joanne...My only fear is that again, most Canucks will pay more attention to the perils of such luminaries as Paris Hilton...The Canadian medias will also brush it off with as little positive coverage as possible. Already last night on Duff, Bob Fife critisized Harper and the fact he's leaving kyoto/friend of Bush blah, blah, blah.
Vive Ian Macdonald! (One of the best, especially on Quebec politics along with Chantal Hebert)
I'm going to see how the National Post reacts today and tomorrow on it.
BTW: Your comment letters get posted quite often in the Post Joanne...Good work!!!

L. Ian Macdonald also stressed this a.m. on a local radio station that the 2050 time line is the one Rona Ambrose, like many other Kyoto signatories, had established in the first version of the Clean Air Act.

And what was the reaction? The Act is "dead in the water" according to critics like NDPer Nathan Cullen and Lib. Pablo Rodriguez, two self-proclaimed saviours of the planet. Their derisive chant was propagated by the MSM, which claimed that the Conservatives were proposing to delay acting on the environment until 2050. HA! HA! they mocked. We'll all be dead by then! Harper will be 90 in 2050!

They may have gotten Harper's age right, but the rest? "Methinks" some critics may need remedial reading courses.

This must be like Chinese water torture for the lefties. Let's hope people will eventually see the widening disconnect between Harper's actions and accomplishments and what they read about him in the media.

Metalguru - Thanks. Yeah, Fife was really ticking me off yesterday on MDL. The old lock-step with Bush comments are getting so boring. And then I think it was Lawrence Martin who said that Harper could have at least talked to Bono like Bush did!

You can't have it both ways, boys!!!

Gabby & Steve - The spin is so predictable I could probably write their talking points for them.

Shouldn't that be: "Harper shines at meeting I earlier condemned as useless posturing"...?

Joanne (True Blue) said...

Yeah, Red. Harper is nothing but a Kyoto Kultist now. ;)

And I really wish he'd stop bashing Bush!

I don't think you can bash something with a feather.
