He must vote against the throne speech. However, the other two parties have to be on board as well. He will need to win over their support. Are they ready to go to the polls?
Both the Globe and the National Post seem to be tired of hearing Dion's whining and threats as well.
The Post says to "Bring it on". I agree.
Show us what you're made of, Stephane!

Im utterly shocked. I can't believe that the G&M would even acknowledge, let alone print such anti-progressive blaspheme.
Are there perhaps a few individuals there with their feet on the ground?
Dark days for the lefties indeed.
Dion hasn't made any threats - it's speculation on the part of the MSM - Dion said he won't decide on the throne speech until he's heard what's in it - makes sense to me.
Think about it - how can Duceppe and Layton threaten when they don't know what's in it?
Some of the Parliamentary Press Gallery are growing impatient with Dion too, as you can see in the two videos of his recent press conferences here.
First they ganged up on him to reveal more information on the "secret negotiations" going on over bulk water exports. Norma Greenway and a Quebec reporter were especially persistent.
Dion's mistake is that he becomes argumentative and dismissive with the reporters. It's as if he was debating with students in a class.
He is also obviously too full of himself, as at the end of the bulk water press conference, he says "It is of interest to me to protect my country, and I have done that today"
CG, please provide a warning when linking to Turners site.
I was unprepared and threw up.
Welcome back Joanne. My guess is the Liberal's realize Harper will withdraw from Afghanistan in 2009 and figure it's going to be lost as a wedge issue, and might use the thrown speech to force an election.
Anyone notice the irony of Dion stating he will use economic uncertainty against Harper?Problem was it was the same day the budget surplus was announced to be far higher than projected because of the growth of our economy.Brilliant Steff!

Ditto.
However, it was rather sublime that Turner showcased this interview which I was snickering at the whole time.
Dion should fire his pronunciation coach pronto.
Also, when CPAC asks a question that wasn't really all that difficult, and Dion says he's not following it, you just have to wonder. This man could possibly be our Prime Minister someday. That is a scary thought.

Good catch!
Welcome back Joanne.
Thanks, Paul. Just easing myself back into it at this point. I still have a pile of reading to do.
Dion hasn't made any threats
Well...
Is it Dolton McLiar's Liberals or Dion's Liberals who are going to encourage people to see their Veterinarians for medical care as a way to ease the health crisis they created?
Dion is the federal politician who said bill 101 was a great Canadian law. Although exactly what Canada had to do with this piece of racist crap is beyond me.
