As another Joanne, I too am happy that Stephan Dion is the new liberal leader. Ignatieff was too like a Tory and Rae was too left a former NDP. Stephen Harper should be shaking in his boots.
Dion: -terrible environmental record as minister (30% increase above targets in green house gas emissions) -supports raising tax dollars drastically to pay other countries for not reaching Kyoto targets -catastrophic "green" plan that would bring our economy to deep recession
Now tell me again that "Harper should be shaking in his boots." Next elections, us conservatives will be hammering the fatal flaws in the Liberals' damned environmental "plan." Conservatives are the only ones who propose a sane, workable plan.
