This is a public service announcement. As some of you may know, a vicious storm swept through Southern Ontario yesterday, and Environment Canada is now investigating the possibility that one or more tornadoes touching down.
Of course, everyone knows what to do if severe weather or a tornado is imminent - run for the basement!
Unfortunately, I have a couple of relatives who value their vehicles more than than their heads; although as you can see from the photo, precautions were taken to protect the upper part of the body with a stylish upside-down chair helmet.
On the plus side, relatives and vehicles are all safe. Not one dent on the vans!
The heads of my family members are also recovering from the compulsory wine consumption that is a necessity for an emergency of this magnitude.
Not sure how well the washing machine will fare after handling all those soggy comforters though.
